A painting is a gift unlike any other.  

 

Pamela Nichols paints portraits and figurative paintings in oil.  With each portrait, she strives to achieve a realistic likeness of the subject, while aspiring to portray the essence of the person's spirit and character. This is accomplished with a combination of live sittings and photographs.  

 

Pam will collaborate with the client as to the appropriate clothing, props, surroundings, lighting, etc...resulting in a work of art which will be passed from generation to generation.

 

Pam uses only Artist Grade oil paint on the finest Belgian portrait linen.
